Buying a Djembe from Drum Magic Helps Support a Village in Ghana
Jana Broder is proud to offer high quality hand-made djembe drums from Ghana. The drums are made from "'Tweneboa Wood" from the Tweneboa Tree, a renewable resource in Ghana and the Ivory Coast. Tweneboa translates to "Drum Tree."
Each drum is a piece of art created by the people of a small village called, "Kane Kwei" in Accra, Ghana.
The entire village is involved and every sale helps support the people who live there. If you have drummed with Jana Broder and Drum Magic, you have probably drummed on one of these beautiful hand-carved djembes. Now you can own one yourself while supporting the hard working people in a village in Africa.
